Northumberland Skills (post 16 years)
Northumberland Skills is Northumberland County Council's post-16 education provider, which means it delivers a wide variety of full and part-time courses, as well as apprenticeships, on behalf of Northumberland County Council.
Courses are designed to help young people and adults to advance their career, re-train,
find employment or explore new skills. Northumberland Skills also has a tailored Local Offer with a range of learning programmes called 'Supported Education Beyond 16 (SEND)' with study levels available at Entry Level and Level 1.

These programmes are aimed at young people between the ages of 16-24 years, who wish to improve their personal, social and independent living skills in order to be able to manage their relationships, develop confidence and learn vital home management skills in becoming independent. In addition, a choice of vocationally specific units are designed to help learners decide on an appropriate vocational learning or employment progression pathway.
With course start dates across the year, there's always an opportunity to learn and grow with Northumberland Skills. Their dedicated SEND provision is available at their Alnwick Campus and their Prudhoe Campus - find out more about campus locations by clicking here.
