Paediatrician services
Northumbria Healthcare's Children’s Outpatients Department offers a range of clinics to treat children and young people from birth to age 19 with a variety of different conditions and provides individual support for families.

They run specialist clinics for children with autism, diabetes, epilepsy and allergies. We also see children and young people with development problems, a disability or children who need special blood tests that can’t be carried out by their GP.

Regional hospitals
One of only 14 major children's centres in the UK, the Great North Children's Hospital is located in Newcastle upon Tyne, within the Royal Victoria Infirmary (RVI). ​
The children’s emergency department can be found next to the main Emergency Department at the Royal Victoria Infirmary (RVI). The team here care for children and young people who need immediate care for every kind of injury and illness.
